A message from the Senegalese Embassy, London*

Born in York of a Senegalese Father and an English mother, Teba Diatta decided last year to spend her gap year in Oussouye, Casamance, Senegal, where her father was born. While teaching English at the Aline Sitoe College, she was deeply moved by the lack of resources an poverty around her.

She would not stop there and decided to do something about it! Now in an official partership with *UNICEF, she is aiming to raise £1 million to "End Child Exploitation." Part of the money will help to improve the life of the children of Ossouye.

We appeal to your generosity to donate as much as you can.

* Comment made by The Senegal Embassy in 2003 when RFL was helping UNICEF raise funds for one of their appeals.
